Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Howdy all!

Tamiya 1/35 T-34/76 "ChTZ" version, 1943 Production

Primed in Ultimate gray and black
Painted Model Masters Russian Armor Green. Small bits in Tamiya acrylic range.
Weathered with Vallejo Pigments and Environmental effects Russian Mud.

Completely out of box. Fun quick build and overall a pretty good kit considering it's from 1975 molds. Recommended to those starting to dabble in armor.

I've not been very productive recently but I did make a start on a stand for my KittyHawk Jaguar. I used a piece of 5mm acrylic rod and a small MDF shelf from a CD cabinet. I'll cover the whole base with PVA and sand to finish it off. I may also move the rod further forward on the base as it looks a bit far back to me.

I've been working on a Tamiya 1/35 scale BT-42. Hoping to enter this into a competition in a week.
I used Vallejo Dark Green from "Soviet WWII Camo Colors" set for the green and Tamiya rubber black for the tires. The recoil compensator/muzzle break was painted flat black, the tracks were painted in "Dark Track" by MiG. I applied some liberal amounts of different earth-toned pigments on the hull bottom before gluing the tracks together. I also used Tamiya panel liners for pin washes and to fix the pigments.

Hi ISMers. This is my first proper post to the forum. I normally do aircraft, but I've been working on something different for a couple of months now...

This week I've been continuing with a scratch-built drum kit to go with three Futuristic Robots resin kits from Walter Pezzali of Japan (Virgile on guitar, Stan on bass and Vincent on drums). All made from Plasticard/Evergreen styrene plus some stub wire from the florists for the legs and stands. Currently primed in grey Mr Surfacer Primer 1500 with the cymbals sprayed with Alclad brass. Still some finishing work and painting to do, but hope to have these done this coming week, then on to making a double bass for Stan Virgile's Gretsch guitar is completed, but I'll include it in a later post.

Have not been able to post for a while, but I've had some time over Thanksgiving. Here is my progress on Revell's Airbus EC145 German medevac helicopter. Getting close to primer, Ultimate of course, and paint. Planning on going for Metropolitan Police scheme using Peddinghaus decals. Thanks for the doing the show, I look forward to it every week.

Been working on this Revell Aces Wild Chopper for the past week. I've had the kit in my stash for years and thought it could be a good quick build as a break from aircrafts. I've chopped the back bone of the frame to lower the steering a bit and also add a bit more rake to it. The tank has also been lowered over the frame as I didn't like the big empty space between the front cylinder and the tank. Have started painting all the non chrome parts, for this I used MR Paints chrome as a base and then layed a lot of coats of Badger Minitare ghost tint purple. This gives it a really deep color that almost looks black except for where the light hits it. The rest will be painted in Alclad chrome and polished aluminium.

The Hobby Boss 1/72 Grumman F9F Panther is almost completed, just the final assembly left to do.

I had a hard time making up my mind if I should use the Gunze H55 Midnight Blue or Tamiya XF-17 Sea Blue, but in the end I decided to use the XF-17. The decals are from Print Scale.

Hey Guys,
This is my first proper post from the forum for this Live show. Its a historic rocket that launched the 1st US satellite that I have been working on for the "Space The final frontier" SIG. It is a 1/48 Jupiter-C rocket by Glencoe models. It came about 20 years ago. So far Ive given its history in the sig, built most of the kit and even put in a small electric motor I got from my collection of electronic stuff. No I am not trying to fly it.

The real one had electric motors to turn the Explorer 1 satellite (that is mounted at the top) at a rate while countdown was commencing to get it ready for stabilization in outer space. You can see it spinning during the real launch sequence. Here it is below. The motor (at the lower left) is at the engine area and connects to the drum up top (where Explore 1 is) through a small 1/8 inch shaft. Most of the parts are stuff from my lab so nothing was purchased, including the base (at the bottom right) that the rocket sits on. Its a modem box from an old computer. I hope to add in the wires, paint it with a primer, white and black acrylic paints and then decal it soon before the end of December.


If its of any interest, I got the foot long shaft from an old Estes model rocket launcher and the motor from an old audio tape deck that I took apart. Launching flying rockets has been a big part of my history. Now making more realistic static ones along with aircraft is my new hobby.

Actually it was quite fun as I used a wooden alignment jig and got the hang of it
The paint we see is all Ultimate
Working on sorting out the diorama base with styrofoam and cardboard

A few on the go at the moment but will be turning all attention to getting this masked, primed and preshaded this weekend. Italeri's 1/72 AC-130H Spectre. Wheels up build, will be shown on a base mounted with a clear acrylic rod eventually.

Just learning how to use my new airbrush so this'll give me plenty of practice
