Some of my latest builds by way of introduction.

Post by Ij001 »

So as the title says, going to post a couple of my most recent finishes as a way of saying Hi and show you my particular interests. Hope this is OK.

From the early 1990's - Airfix BMW 3.5CSL with Studio 27 decals. Kerbside kit which could be motorized. Truly awful fit and ride height despite my best efforts, but looks OK in the cabinet.

Revell Chevy C10 'Stepside'. Decals from the spares box and lolly-ice sticks in the bed !. Great kit really enjoyed this one.

My favourite NASCAR era, the mid 1980's to the early 2000's. None of these are wearing kit decals, most are Powerslide or JWTBM. All built straight from the box and all painted with Tamiya aerosol acrylics, except the Tide car which is Tamiya acrylic sprayed from the jar(s).

Tamiya's superb 911 GT1. Fantastic kit, superb detail and hassle free decals, and no I'm not on the payroll, I really mean it !!

Hope you like my stuff, and please feel free to criticise, comment or ask any questions.

Wow, damn fine work there. I really like the Chevy truck and I've built many Nascar kits myself and yours are very good builds.
