Post by Kingdan »

"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?”

NEW! Starting this upcoming Friday, the Live! Crew will not only review your work, they will also pick their favorite build for the week. The entry with the most votes will win an ISM Goodie Bag! It is just one more reason to show us your work each week, so what are you waiting for?

Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, December 15th*

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew.

So work Contuinue's on my Eduard BF109G-2

Cockpit is complete apart from a quick wash.

Ultimate black primer with Tamiya German Grey for the base coat.

Everything else hand painted with Tamiya colours apart from the Coloured PE Harness.

Not the greatest but this is my first plane build..

My submission is this Revell SH-60B Seahawk in 1:100 scale, no aftermarket parts but I had fun building my interpretation of the interior.
Primed in Vallejo grey; colors are mostly Tamiya (Sky Grey, NATO & flat black, dark green, flat yellow and red) w All-clad II duraluminum.
Also scratchbuilt some of the hydraulic lines on both rotors. All in all, a short and satisfying lil build, hope you enjoy.

After a few weeks of relative inactivity I've been able to get some time back on my Puma for the feline fever GB this week. This is the Dragon kit on a MiniArt diorama base; the figures are mainly from a Masterbox set with one interloper from Tamiya. It's been painted using Ultimate primers and predominantly Vallejo ModelAir with a mix of Vallejo washes and various clay washes for the weathering. If I can get the figures painted by the end of this weekend I'll be in with a shout of getting it finished on time.

Edit: As it's a rollover I'm hoping I'm allowed a second pic to show how the figures have come along - they're currently blue-tacked in place so I can do some fettling where needed. After Ultimate priming these have been brush painted with Vallejo, Andrea and AK paints of varying types and shades. There's a bit more work to be done on a couple of them, and since I'm trying to depict something towards the end of the war I've mixed & matched the camo & uniform shades to represent the disarray. I've also added the drain pipe and rubbled up the base a bit :)

Happy Christmas and all the best for 2018!

Hi all Ive made a start on my K2SO build with lighting kit. using AK xtreme metal and Black primer. will probably clear it with some sort of satin finish.
Running the thin magnet wire of the lighting kit to the feet is going to be a challenge. Also plan to do some sort of a mini dio base for him also.

I have been working on my entry for the Feline Fever GB this week. It's flyhawk's 1/72 Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf L “Luchs” I have been working on the hull mainly this week. The kit really fall's togheter but due to lack in time i dont think i will be able to finish it before the end of the GB.

This is how she looks now.
