Heavy Bomber Build

Post by DBMiller »

I really wanted the Heavy Bomber build to come off but it missed being selected (by only a vote or two)! I'm really not a car person but rather than do something sensible for the first few months of 2018 (like finishing all my shelf queens) I've decided to start my own Heavy Bomber GB - with a group of one!

I'll post it in the WIP section just like it was a regular GB; with an introduction to the particular aircraft I'm building, a tour of the instructions and sprue, etc.

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=23988

The kit I've chosen is really old, and I have a cold, so wish me luck!

I have a Sterling parked in my stash ready to go for the BBB build as well, but as you said...
I am expecting a member based buddy build to form at some point this year so went ahead and started a car last night!

Although I wouldn't be able to commit any time to an entry, I would find a bomber build much more enjoyable to watch than a car build, so it's a thumbs up from me :thumb1:

Of course the Cold War build could cover any number of great bombers couldn't it? A two for one build!
