I have 19 listed in my spreadsheet so far with a handful of guys on the fence due to other commitments and or life situations.
Another handful of MIA's, so if we haven't talked on here lately check your PM's and or send me a note you want to participate.
I have pretty much contacted everyone on forum I have interacted with, so if there is anyone you guys see missing, let me know and I will harass them :D or extend an invitation yourself. The more the merrier

As I look through the sheet, it is like looking at a NHL AllStar line up...guys from all over the world and all fantastic modellers and good friends.
We know this is not all about the final results so new folks will be very welcomed
If you want in, just let me know :thumb2:

Thank guys, this is going to be special
:cheers2:

Oh this is sooo tempting especially as I'm waiting for a visit from the postie. Trouble is I'm a bit slow at this modelling lark as can be seen by my continuing attempt to finish Paul's Christmas buddy build....
So long story short. What timings are we thinking about on this?

May 1st is the start date for sure
Looking at either three or four months long so ends either July31 or August 31 depending on what the masses decide.
I am pushing for four months long so guys doing the big heavy bombers can get the detail in they want

Pls get your buns in here and sign up...you can make it work and will have more fun than a barrel of monkeys!!!
You were going to order an Lanc and a bunch of super dooper goodies to go with it

OK, sign me up! I did get the Lanc & a shed load of AM but I'm torn, Dragons "Dackelbauch" is really calling to me! In my stash I have:
B-17F "Memphis Belle"
SBD-5/A-24B "Dauntless"
Fairey Swordfish Mk.II
Avro Lancaster
Heinkel He 111 P-1
Ju87R-2/B-2 Stuka
Attack Bomber Tenzan (Jill)
Junkers Ju 88A-4
Bf110D-1/R1 "Dackelbauch"
So lots to choose from! I vote for 4 months.

Been reading through the thread while waiting for the game to start, so... Ok, ok... I’m in!

The start date and bevy of prizes (not that I stand a chance, or care really) lured me in. I was considering the Cold War GB, but apparently this will be way more fun! I hope I can hang.....

Not sure what I’ll do, still researching. I’d like to add some German wings to the fleet and it needs to be “small” due to limited display space. I’m looking at a 1:72 Revell Dornier DO-17z-10. Any other suggestions!

Ahhhh... 1-0 Canuck!!! I think that’s 5 games in a row that 1uick has given up a goal on the first or second shot.

Bit did you notice how sloppy the Canuck were??
It wasn’t like they had it nailed down all the way...they give the puck away and the D backs in from the blue line so quickly
A couple calls the other way and things would have changed fast
Have a good night

Interesting Bomber, had a little read up on her and she qualifies...a Russian Mosquito
Alright, a solid maybe is as good as a yes in my book.
We have #4 Captain PrivatePublic
If there's not enough time to do the twin engined Russian then I also have Hasegawa's 1/48 B7A2 that I've always wanted to do and yet never got around to.
Image
Really it's more of an attack/torpedo bomber but has a bomb bay complete with doors for up to 800kg bombs so I guess it counts? I'll leave it up to your descretion.

Bomb bay doors, unstarted kit....it qualifies
I took off the heavy bomber designation so we could be more inclusive and get more participants
Just not fighter bombers with wing only bombs

Right, time to finally post and properly sign myself up for this one too!

Despite being a British fellow who enjoys his British bombers (especially Airfix's new Armstrong Whitworth Whitley), I have decided instead to give the Hun some attention and build a Light Bomber/Aerial Reconnaissance/Night Fighter from the Luftwaffe:
Image

Here's hoping this is a good kit, since in this case it's originally a tooling from ICM that Revell have re-boxed and added the Night Fighter parts to.
Image

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I'm stuck on the Ostfront...and so are f**king you!

Despite being a British fellow who enjoys his British bombers (especially Airfix's new Armstrong Whitworth Whitley), I have decided instead to give the Hun some attention and build a Light Bomber/Aerial Reconnaissance/Night Fighter from the Luftwaffe:
Here's hoping this is a good kit, since in this case it's originally a tooling from ICM that Revell have re-boxed and added the Night Fighter parts to.
All right my young friend, you are in

You can count me in hopefully I'll build the Avro Vulcan or the Handley Page Victor probably in 1:72 so I am looking at getting G.W.H Revell or airfix. if anyone has any experience with these and can point me in the direction of the best kit. I'm also going to convert it into a tanker after this build for a dio I've got in mind.

Rogue 5 checking back in Rogue Leader!

Blimey this got busy over the last few days - Nice work!

I've got a dio idea brewing up with a 1/72 Mossie bomber variant and a Tiger so I might be switching planes...

Or doing both the Mossie and the Lanc if time permits - I'm definitely in favour of the longer time frame.

And happy to help out run things if you still need any assistance.
Cheers, Neil

For anyone who really wants to push the definition of 'bomber' the F-105 Thunderchief has a bomb bay. Just saying.
