Which Filler putty do you guys recommend? and how do you use it?

I have seen a guy on YouTube who uses something called Wamod - Washable Acrylic Putty thinned and applied with a brush... and then cleaning off the excess using a cotton bud moistened with thinner...

This seems to work great on small seams and panel joins.

Looks a much better option than the Humbrol Filler or Milliput options I have used in the past!

Could you guys touch on the importance of the base coat (primer) colour in influencing your top layer paint colour
I asked about it on the Forum re painting a Ferrari and learned a lot so though it should be brought to the masses as applies to cars, figures, aircraft etc

With airplane kits, primarily modern aircraft, sometimes the landing gear could look very weak at points, especially the nose gear. Have you ever thought about reinforcing the landing gear? Also how would you guys go about doing it?
I live in an apartment with limited space, so I model on a foldable table in the living room next to a window. We also have two cats, how would you protect the model from the cat bats and cats bumping the model?

When you join wings to a fuselage using the old large tab connectors I usually end up with either the top or bottom fitting perfectly with the other 'wobbling' to expose a large seam which requires several applications of filler or plastic card. Is there any way to fettle the wings so they fit properly or am I stuck with filling huge seams forever? I try to dry fit and when gluing make sure the joints at the wing root are flush.

Cheers

Al

Hiya Guys, watched last night but had to keep dropping in and out as went out to the pub with the wife, so have re watched the questions section this morning.
Thanks for the info but as there were 2 questions about 'Filler / Putty' my specific question did not really get answered.

Can I ask it again in a better and more specific way next week?

Asking the question's in a different way;

Have any of you guys used Wamod Filler? Is it any good / worse / better than the Vallejo Putty I am using?

Have you used the technique of removing excess filler with a Q-Tip moistened with thinner instead of waiting till its hard dry and then sanding?

No worries mate and sorry for not being more specific with your question. I shall ask it first on the coming show :)
