Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long,please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

Well someone has to kick this week off i guess..

Managed to get Airfix 1.72 scale Tomahawk finished for Tim Hedworth's #Brit72. Been sitting around for a bit and a late finish to the group build. Painted using model color paint and finished off with Ultimate washes and pigments.

I've been working on Meng's Panther Ausf. A Late version. Used Tamiya Buff+Dark Yellow to create the dunkelgelb and MiG's Olivgrün and Chokolatbraun colours to paint the camouflage. Very much WIP.

Not much bench time this week, but I did manage to get the engine & gearbox wedged into the rear bay of my Aoshima McLaren last weekend. Fit is generally good with the exception of the exhaust which may need a little more attention depending on how much is visible. Next up is the cockpit so the tub is dry fitted here to see how it goes in.

Howdy all!

This is a Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1A Corsair. Primed in Ultimate black. Painted in MM Green Zinc Chromate. Black bits in MM Cockpit Black. Dry brushed with Vallejo Metal Air Steel. Odd bits in Tamiya acrylic range.

Good kit so far, highly recommended!

Work continues on the 1/32 Hobbyboss F-84E

Cockpit has been installed and fuselage side glued together, very good fit with a minimum seem line to take care of, wing and other sub-assemblies finished. Few more items like bombs and smaller ancillary to build, then this bad boy can be put together. It is a very large model once assembled.

Continuing with my Eduard Mig 21. Got the Brassin Cockpit finished.

This is my first dalliance with resin so was a bit nervous before starting. It's actually been really good to work with and the final look is well purple dandelion fish worth the effort.

Snaily been working on my MiG 21R for the Andreas mig buddy build, going much better than the first one I did. Cockpit sprayed with MIG AMMO Cockpit turquoise, primered in Ultimate Black, inside of nose and tail sprayed directly to plastic with alclad airframe aluminium, primer and paint to come this weekend!

I've been slowly building up an Age Of Sigmar Seraphon (Lizardman) army.

I bought the Start Collecting Box set & a few other supplementary units. This week I have been finishing off some Chameleon Skinks and A Skink Starpriest...

All primed in Ultimate grey primer with a white highlight and painted with army painter, vallejo, tamiya and AK acrylics and Army Painter Quickshades.

Here is my entry to the ISM Car & Bike Group Build. The 1972 East African Rally winning Ford Escort.

Got a start on the body shell, sprayed in Ford Diamond White, decanted from the rattle can and airbrushed on, the bonnet has been done in a generic satin black.
Spent an afternoon decaling, all went on really well however we had an issue with the red stripe down the side of the car. Upon drying, the following day, it seems to have shrunk and split, giving a dotted line effect, however the yellow stripe above it (part of the same decal) was unaffected.
Mark from Motobitz has kindly offered me a replacement set at a discounted rate, so I hope to fix it by overlaying the original decal to save stripping the whole car.

This week I've been working on a Revell 1/72 Phantom F-4F. Painted the cockpit in Tamiya Dark Sea Grey and Nato Black, with details in red, yellow and white. So much detail for this scale!

Managed to finish my Beemax Volvo 240 Turbo, build pretty much OOB, just added a couple of wires and some of the Beemax PE. Paints are mostly Ultimate primers and some Tamiya and Vallejo for detail painting and Alclad metals. Clear coated with Zero paints 2k clear. It's a nice kit with good fit, will definitely build more of these.

Been working on my first diorama to display my first tank. The kit came with another version of the turret so I attempted to weather and battle damage it. Aftermarket stowage from ValueGearDetails, one or two scratch built by me, the diorama is plaster, Vallejo Earth texture that's been colored/dry brushed/weathered, MIG and Vallejo Mud and Environment products, Vallejo Snow and White Pastel.

And that's a 22 casing in the background as an old spent shell.

Figures ordered today, some static grasses and ground textures as well. This will probably be one of those perpetual builds to test products and have fun with, plus i've had so much fun building it so far.

Eduard 1/48 Mig-21R profi pack - built OOB but missing the rudder pedals (in orbit somewhere). Smaller unseen bits primed in Ultimate Black Primer (39.5 degrees) and almost indistinguishable from the other Migs in this buddy build. Ready for the Romanian low-vis grey upper camo and sexy blue underside after priming of course. Also on the bench is the Aries 1/32 resin cockpit for the Tamiya F-14 which I have thoroughly enjoyed painting in the relaxed atmosphere of a few hangouts this week

Been marching on with the MIG 21 and got the camo pattern down. LOVE doing this on kits and the Gyro-cut made my job so much more easy

This week I've been working on Bandai's 1/72 Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon.

Mainly doing the weathering which was firstly was applying a pin wash using Abteilung 502 starship filth oil thinned down with odouless thinners.

Next was an overall layer of grime which was applied as a dot filter using faded navy blue, dark mud and dark rust Abteilung 502 oils and all blended with thinners. Once dry it was further blended with a dry brush and excess removed using a tissue.
