Star Wars Revisited

Post by elscorpio »

Hello fellow modelers !

Some time ago (2015) i built the Stormtrooper and C3pO 1/16 Bandai. In those days i dind t had the knowledge or courage to try to do a base or some weathering on these models...Last couple of weeks i decided to do the R2D2 that i had in my stash and i was decided to make a small base for it...the ideia stucked in my head and i decided to take the models from the shelf and do a little rework on them...

They went from

The Stormtrooper looks great but I have to say, c3po and R2, are just so cool!

(All three tho quality and skill wise are out of this world!)

Really nice work on both bases mate. Subtle weathering on the figures too.

I reckon the trooper is pointing at a bunch of recalcitrant Ewoks while R2 and 3PO are just about have the argument that sees 3PO kick the little fella!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

WOW! Awesome little vignettes!

This is a fantastic post on how a small base and a bit of subtle weathering can totally change the outcome.
You've really nailed it!!! :th:

Its also a way to see what almost 3 years of “experiments” and some learning can do...from weathering to photograph...
