"Sprue goo" made from humbrol poly cement?

Post by DoubleDigit12 »

Ive seen around the forum alot of people talking about , and using, "sprue goo".
Now I know that traditionally it is made from TET or Mr hobby cement S but has anyone tried making it out of Humbrol glue?
Im sure everybody here has a tube of the yellow stuff somewhere and was wondering if it had finally found a use :nena:
Would it still work or would it be too thick?
Also what about making concoction of TET and add some of this in?

it probably would work , but might be a lot slower. To both melt the sprue and to dry afterwards. If I had a spare empty bottle I would try it.
