Ism Friday's night live at the bench what have you been working on for *March 23rd*

Post by Kingdan »

"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?”

NEW! Starting this upcoming Friday, the Live! Crew will not only review your work, they will also pick their favorite build for the week. The entry with the most votes will win an ISM Goodie Bag! It is just one more reason to show us your work each week, so what are you waiting for?

**Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, March 23rd**

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew.

Work continues on my Tamiya Stug IV. I've done the base colour using Vallejo Model Color Dark Yellow, with a light coat of Sand Yellow on the upper surfaces where the paint would have faded slightly.

This was followed by some rust by drybrushing Vallejo Model Color Flat Earth on some of the edges and raised detail.

Work continues with Tamiya VW Beetle 1966 1/24. Body parts primer green 087+red 188+super clear gloss 048 by Mr. Paint series, engine and little things with Tamiya acrylics. Little bit bare metal foil experiments, first time. Something went wrong with clear gloss, I did see green underneath here and there. Made some corrections and now it's ready for another layer of clear gloss. Maybe I try even polishing, for fun and learning.

Dragon 1/35 Tiger II finished.

Painted with Ultimate Gelb Primer, Tamiya for the camo. Tracks painted with Ultimate Oxide primer and weathered with AK Rusts and Vallejo Metal Colour. Weathered and filtered with oils, sealed with Aqua Gloss, then a Ultimate Dark Dirt Wash then sealed again with AK Ultra Matt and dry pigments. Mud and slush effects using Tamiya snow paint mixed with brown and black paint.

I've made a little progress on my 1:24 Tamiya Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI Martini. The primer is Stynylrez Gray, for the padding on the rollcage I mixed in some Black to darken it a bit. The aluminum parts are Vallejo Metal Color Aluminum. Other colors are various Tamiya paints. In this photo you can just make out the Eduard Sabelt harness set; what a pain...

Tamiya Leyton house with the carbon fibre decals and PE set from studio 27.

Sprayed all the body work with zero paints.
Fixed PE parts to engine and rear wing.
Fixed all 60 pieces of carbon fibre decals, you name it it's got carbon fibre on it.
Made up the wheels, sprayed with Alclad magnesium and then a light coat of Alcald smoke.
Used model factory hiro tyre valves and there tyre template for the logos, sprayed with mr hobby flat white.
Sanded down the tyres
The engines has been sprayed with Alcad aluminuam and gun metal.
The exhausts where sprayed with mr metallic chrome. Will be heat staining them later.

First kit bash!

Bandai 1/48 AT-ST with bits from a Tamiya 1/48 Pander IV. Primed in Ultimate black. Painted over all in MM Dinkelgelb, the camo with MM Olivegruen and Rotebraun. Weathered with Vallejo pigments.

Fun build, wish I'd tried kitbashing a long time ago!

Hope y'all have a fantastic weekend!

Have done a bit of work on this Eduard Bf109 G6 this week. I started this when Paul started the new techniques series and got pretty muck as far as he did. Thought it was time to try to finish it now, have added resin radio compartment and fabric belts, the rest is out of the box. Painted it using Ultimate black primer, MR Paints RLM 76 and RLM 4, gave it a coat of MR Paints flat clear and a dark brown oil wash. Still need to bleach some of the panels and add some small chipping.

Been working on the engine of the special hobby tempest. it has been a lot of trial and error with this work. Many attempts but I am happily getting there. When I dont loose canopy sections that is.

This is the Heller Laverda 750 SFC. It's been fighting me hard, it might be winning.
