Hmm I dont think it did have bomb bay doors. If you look at the wicki, it is seen as a bomber but only carried them externally. A good opening of that kit should show some detail in that area I would think, if not a really good book on that aircraft.

It had a bomb bay, the size of which was dependant on whether the aircraft was fitted with a fuselage mounted fuel tank or not. :th:

It could also carry them externally.

:D edited my post, it had 2 bays, one behind the other. The forward bay could be used for housing a fuel tank depending on the mission requirements.

Oh cool Stokesy, thank you for updating that with actual history! Love to learn about this stuff. That wiki was kindof general in way with no really good pics and stuff.

For an easier way, check out BBCode4Flickr on the App Store or at www.bbcode4flickr.com; it’s free. I wrote it a couple of months ago and have been using it ever since. I think a few others are using it also. If you try it, let me know if you have problems.

Good luck!

For some reason I’ve stopped getting notifications when new posts have been added. Maybe the thread is too big now and we’ve gone and broken the forum with our keen-ness 🤪

So, I have the Aries resin exhausts, the Master brass pitot, SAC metal landing gear and Caracal decal sheet for the B-58. I am in a quandary as to whether or not to get the resin cock pit set as it is 58 bucks. If not, I will build it closed as for some unknown reason Monogram decided to ONLY do the front cockpit, and then with a fairly regular ejection seat and NOT the capsule.

The resin set has all three positions, but does require cutting out the two other hatches. AND it has the proper ejection capsules.

If the damn set didnt cost so much, it would be an easy choice.

Also, I only paid 10 bucks for the kit with no box and no decals. We wont get into how much I paid for the Caracal set as it was OOP when I got it. And then they decide to re release it a couple months later. All things together, i am around 100 in this kit.

I have been dropping leaflets and notices reminding and inviting people to the bomber sig
Surprisingly, these have been met with less enthusiasm than I expected  :

Iam hoping my Japanese "War Tuba" announcements early Sunday mornings will be greeted with more enthusiasm

Oh dear. That's a pity. Have we had some people drop out?

Would be a shame to miss out on all the fun.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Wrapping up my 1/32 FA-18C by the 20th. The B-1B and Phantom are already set aside. So the Hustler will be the main focus come May.
