Get in there Paul - go and grab that mojo, don’t wait for it to wonder back into your modelling world. Great to see you bashing away at the cockpit

Delighted to see a true master at work.

Got the 1/32 Hasegawa Raiden fuselage glued up today, fits like a glove, very minimal work needed on the seems. Theres a bit of work needed still on the engine cowling but nothing major. Great kit so far

Got the Hasegawa 1/32 Raiden primed tonight. Used Ultimate Modelling Products Olive primer as this is going to be green it saved spraying the canopy "interior" colour separate.

Seeing as theres loads of interest in this build heres another update lol

Got the Hasegwawa 1/32 Raiden fully painted now, used tamiya Xf-70 for the green , Xf-12 for the underneath and Tyre black for the anti glare strip.
Yellow leading edge and tail band to mask and spray next, then start weathering the paintwork

The hasegawa Raiden has had its hinomaru and others markings and id bands masked and sprayed on, theres some decals to add to and some touch ups needed here and there. Also got the exhaust sprayed they just need a bit of tweaking. landing gear, props etc all sprayed ready for weathering.

Started some weathering on the 1/32 raiden, using dried Ultimate Modelling Products Algae wash to weather the upper surfaces, lightly grinding the pigments into the panel then wiping away the excess and blending it with a finger. Showing the versatility of our washes, which have the highest quality pigments. I've also used pastels to wether the meatballs, props yellow id markings and add exhaust staining. started some chipping with a prismacolour pencil, had enough for the afternoon now.

Looks great Paul. Good to see you building an aircraft!

Question - how much wash did you use to get a sufficient amount of pigment once it had evaporated?

Hardly any at all mate, i reckon less than 5ml wash, the pigment goes a long way.
