Nordic Air Power Books

Morning Everyone,

I was just wondering whether anyone has any of the Nordic Airpower Books (http://nordicairpower.com/books/index.html)?

They look like stunning books and I am interested in buying one (specifically the Viggen book and possiblly the Draken one as well), but they cost a lot - €40 each plus postage, which comes in at around €20 for one.

Would anyone who has one say they are worth it? And in terms of content do they offer that much more than the Squadron Walk Around books or the numerous photos found on the internet?

I have the Tunnan, Lansen, Draken and Viggen ones and really like them. They have some pictures that you won't find anywhere else. Might not be the best if you're after a lot of detail pictures, there are some pages with detail pictures of the cockpit, landing gear, weapons etc. But most of the books are focused on markings of different planes. So if you're looking for inspiration for a build, or trying to figure out what markings you might want to do. And it's a nice reference for overall weathering of the planes. The printing is really high quality with beautiful pictures and I really like the books and find myself often looking through them to find inspiration.

Now granted I am a crazy Swede who love Swedish planes and probably builds way too many of them

Thanks for your response that’s what I suspected to be honest, if I see them out and about I may pick one up, but with the postage I don’t think I can really justify buying one online
