1/35 scale Tankers Goggles

Hi
Has anyone any experience or knowledge of how to scratch build goggles for 1/35 British tankers? I'm currently working on a large diorama representing 1st Polish Armoured Division and there will be upwards of 20 figures, most of whom would have been wearing goggles. There do not appear to be any photo etch kits of goggles available and my efforts at casting them in resin have all met with disaster.

Goggles are hard to find (I think Tamiya used to have a couple of goggles in some figure kits (DAK?)).

You may have to swap out the heads:

Not British, but this tamiya set has all USA tankers with googles
