Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long,please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

I guess I will start; building an Airfix 1/24 GR1 Harrier. Colors are all from Testers Model Master. All detailing is scratch built (no after market suppliers).

LAST MINUTE EDIT: Due to some unexpected free time today I managed to finish my Industria Mechanika 1/35 Implausible Long-Nose Submersible

The main body was painted using AK Xtreme Brass/Pale Brass and the nose section was painted using Mr. Metal Color Aluminium with AK Xtreme Jet Exhaust misted over the top half.

Try as I might, I've not managed to successfully photograph how nice (as least I think so) it looks in real-life. The real-metal paints look grainy in the picture (they're not) and the tonal differences in the panels is far more apparent, as are the natural shadows on the rivets and panel lines.

This was an excellent kit and fun to build, I can't recommend it highly enough.

For the Big Beautiful Bomber SIG, I’m working on this not so big 1:72 scale Minicraft Lockheed PV-1 Ventura. I believe this is a reboxing of a late ‘80s Academy kit so the sprue are pretty rough. I’m getting lot of experience and practice fixing issues. I’ve been priming with Stynylrez Black and using Tamiya and Vallejo Metal Colors for the color coats.

The kits been ok to build just some location points have been disappointing, Battery box and two air tanks held on by tiny little pins, one already snapped off in post.Glass location points very small but getting there.
Used Ultimate primers , Tamiya, Vallejo, Mig Alclad paints, C1 Meatalizer and 2 Pack Diamond finish gloss. Still a way to go but progressing.

Howdy all!

Tamiya 1/48 A6M3 Hamp, primed Ultimate Black, overall painted in Tamiya Semi-gloss black and IJN Gray Green. Other bits in the Tamiya acrylic range. Weathered with Vallejo pigments!

Fun, fast build to kickstart the mojo after being away from the bench! Hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend!

Good evening gentle folks.

Progress on the 1/32 Trumpeter Dauntless:

Cockpit primed in Ultimate Black and painted over with MRP's (other primers and paints are available). Details painted with Tamiya acrylics as is the dry brushing. This is the last dry fit before joining the two fuselage halves together and no, I won't forget the rear gunner's seat/turret arrangement. There's also a few other control rods to be attached.

This week I completed my Airfix 1/48 Stuka.

I painted it with Mr Hobby paints, and it includes the Eduard Big Ed set. I also painted on the main markings.

I'm not 100% happy with it, but its still my best model so far, particularly on the painting side of things I use a combination of black basing and panel line pre-shading.

For weathering I used some oil dot filters (which hasn't shown up too well), a wash (where I experimented with different colours before reverting to dark dirt), streaking and pigment.

It is also the first time I have shown the engine; not sure I will do it with future builds unless there is a specific reason to, I think it would have looked better with the cowling
