SCRAMBLE Draw

Well don't get too excited it isn't until this weekend, but we will be doing the first of the door prize draws

THE SCRAMBLE DRAW

So rules are simple:
*If you started a build thread you qualify to win
*You just need to have put pics of your kit into the thread, no actual building is necessary
*Everyone with build thread (38 so far) qualifies except me
*I will do a random number draw on Friday night PST, May 18th and post the winning number up on ISM for Saturday morning..if all goes well
* I will try to video it all, but it will likely take me the weekend to figure how to upload the darn video to U tube...yes I am a Cro-Magnon

Kit to be won TBA; Have to consult with the generous donating benefactors to see what kit to start with

I got permission from the wife to spend the evening modelling, gaming and sipping whiskey. So, cheers and I'll see you at the live show, then maybe a hangout afterwards!

(However this is probably all my political capital until the move is made. I may have to buy a puppy as well once we're settled into the new house... maybe two puppies.... I just really want a dog.)

I have got my list and checked it twice...three and a half hours left to start your build and qualify for the Bomber Scramble draw

Hurry hurry hurry and post your kit up into a build thread
I have 38 Captains enrolled including me and a madman making two bombers.....so missing 15 captains, sadly

I don’t want any complainers that their number was drawn and we passed them by.....and I will

9 PM PST Friday night which is 4am GMT Saturday is the deadline for entering the scramble

Hope the format of that draw was ok

I tried to make the draw as transparent as I could; thank god it drew an active member’s number right away

I really thought I was in with a chance during the winter weather SIG till the FB debacle. Since then I’ve become very jaded about winning anything - except for that superb Magach tank I won in the monthly prize draw while on holiday in Jamaica last year!

I'm kinda getting back into all what I used to build as a kid/teenager, my stash is growing at an alarming rate

It's now stocked with armour, F1 cars, bikes, and now WW1/2 aircraft

I have got somewhere some ships and 54mm figures in my yet to unpack boxes I had in storage.

I've yet to build an aircraft since returning to the hobby, my bomber Sig entry will be my first in over 30 odd years. Since returning a couple years ago I've built 3 AFV's, 1 bike and almost finished a car. It's not a great tally I grant you, but I do still work which does at times cripple the bench time for weeks if not months at a time and I like to fully research my subjects, I find this part half the fun

As I build more I get quicker too, but for me it's not a rush it's just one of my hobbies.
