Post by Kingdan »

"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?”

NEW! Starting this upcoming Friday, the Live! Crew will not only review your work, they will also pick their favorite build for the week. The entry with the most votes will win an ISM Goodie Bag! It is just one more reason to show us your work each week, so what are you waiting for?

**Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, May 25th**

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you go down to the woods today... my 1/72 Airfix Harrier GR.1 for the 1/72 Sig is finished on its dio base. The kit went together really well aside from some trouble in the front wheel well as mentioned last time out. It was painted in Ultimate black primer with Vallejo Model Air and Model Colour for the main colours, followed by a black clay wash and sealed up with AK Ultra Matte. The base is built up from foamboard, various grasses & scatter and some ready made trees from Model Scenery Supplies. The jet-wash is made from some unspun yarn teased out - the strands stand out a bit starkly in the photo due to lighting and zoom so I might try to reshoot again in natural light to get the softer effect it has to the naked eye.

Evening Folks,

Work continues on the Marks & Spencer Christmas rebox of the Revell 1/72 Lancaster Mk. I/III with the wings and tailplane/rudders on. Seams checked with Tamiya Nato Black and looks ok? First attempt at spraying the roundels on :thumb1:

Got the stencils on the port side of Eduard's 1/48 Mig-21R (ask Graeme how many there are) and applied Ultimate Dark Dirt wash after the clear coat of Alclad Aqua Gloss had dried. Then whilst wiping off the excess I knocked the right outer wing fence off and when sticking back on it moved and TET contacted the varnish/clear coat/MRP paint :wall: Thankfully I was in a hangout at the time and Paul convinced me not to throw it in the bin. I have to say it was a close thing though. Fixed the area this morning and will clear coat again tonight.
