A bit more done. The interior is nearly complete now. Now to bring the tank to life before starting on the upper hull and turret interior.

How many hours? I dread to think, as I haven't been working on it continuously. I know I started it last May (so this has been the longest W.I.P. I've had on my bench. I put it aside when I started caring for Mum, and only went back to it a week or so ago.

Actually this interior isn't nearly finished as I still have to add the front hull support, Gurtsacks for the Hull MG and the Demolition Charges. So expect to see some progress soon.

And the aforementioned upper hull support in place. I still have to add the Gurtsacks for the Hull MG and the Demolition charge which sits on this support.

I'm still working on this. I'm just currently painting the MG ammo bags. And sorting out a crew for her, which will be a mix of Resin and Injection. So pictures soon.

MG ammo bags done. I still have two more to add beside the Driver. But these will be added once the Driver figure is in place. I took inspiration from the different colours of bags in David Parker's Superking book. As the bags came from different manufacturer's in real life, so would have used different coloured cloth.

The first of the figures for the King Tiger. This comes from a set of figures by Stalingrad. This is the Funker or Radio Operator, and he's a lot less shiny in real life. And I'll admit I'm not figure painter.

The second figure in progress. This one is from Miniart, but will use arms from other figures. I'll admit it looks a little untidy at the moment, but should look better with paint on.

Thank you. And I mainly use Lifecolour. I'm also using heavily thinned Humbrol acrylics. The main interior colour of the Tank is Xtracolour RFC linen which is a near of a match to the Ivory the German's used as I can get.

I've turned my attention to the turret. And one of the first things is to add the scissor scopes for the commander. I've modified a Takom item, as Meng don't supply it. The Takom is on the left, with the modified version on the right. I still have to add a bracket which goes around the scopes.

And so this build get's shelved again due to me being offered a flat, which means more packing. So this build will surface again once I'm in my flat and settled.

Hello everyone.

As promised an update on the KT build. And as I'm doing the tank as if on a road march, I am doing the recoil guard folded down.

First is an image from David Parker's Superking book.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Well I haven't felt like doing anything. I spent Christmas/New Year alone. But today I decided to work on the gun for the KT.
