1/18 Harrier?

Post by DRUMS01 »

Just wondering if anyone has seen the new 1/18 Hobbyboss Harrier II kit I noticed on eBay in person? I looks like it may be the same as the assembled aircraft. The kit and seller are from China. Does anyone know of the model kits quality or level of detail? They are asking around $145.00 USD.....

Just curious?

Thanks for your feedback!

v/r,

Ben

I would be wary of the detail level. Hobbyboss are not known for super levels of detail in their large scale offerings (1/16 Tiger for example). They've released a 1/18 FW190 IIRC and that was uninspiring detail wise. My suspicion is the Harrier will be the same. Another problem is that the lack of demand for this scale will probably put off many companies that do aftermarket stuff. It will be really difficult to super detail the kit unless you are a superb scratch builder.

That's my tuppence worth on the subject.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
