I have seen and used some of those techniques, but this is a well organized site

:cheers2: This bloke is pretty darned good. Reminds me of a Korean chap on YouTube who does some amazing dioramas with ships based on actual historical occurrences (like the sinking of the HMS Repulse off Singapore by Japanese bombers). He uses historical records to determine where the ship got hit. Anyway, thanks for the link. I don't do dioramas but I always like sussing out other modellers skills and his blog is worth a read. :th:

I saw that somewhere too just recently
He does really cool underwater explosions and such...didn't reveal ANY of his methods though
I like when they show you the how to and what used. LED addition to models is really quite easy and fun

I think that its because it was a report about him rather than by him. From memory he did say a small amount about his technique but the reports focus was more on the gee whiz, isn't this amazing kick. The report was aimed at a general audience rather than we curious, technique hungry, scale modellers. I think we fall into the category of train-spotting boys who've never quite "grown up" for the non-modelling world.
