Decals in textured paint.

Post by Steveo535 »

Hi

Just after a bit of advice. Currently doing my first cat kit and have used textured paint on the dash and seat to which I need to apply decals.

Is there any particular way of apply decals over textured paint?

Cheers Steven.

HA HA HA HA

Just use plenty of decal softening solution. I like to use Microset followed by several coats of Microsol. All you need to do is take special care to ensure the decal is completely down. Silvering is nothing more than air between the paint and decal. If you take your time they should work just fine.
