The Hog from hell

Kit used Tamiya A-10a in 1:48
Aftermarket used Eduard pe and mask set and master barrels replacement barrel set.

Osprey a-10 thunderbolt units of operation enduring freedom and Air data 4.

Osprey A-10 Warthog supreme in the tank busting roll.

Battlestation dvd f-117 and a-10tankbuster.

Paint used
Tamiya xf-4 yellow green, xf-58 olive green mixed 50/50 for the main body colour and then xf-26 deep green and xf-51 khaki drab for the camo colours.
Other Tamiya paints x-1 black, x-2 white, x-7 red, x-8 lemon yellow , x-10 gun metal , x-11 chrome silver , x-12 gold leaf, x-23 clear blue, x-27 clear red, X-31 titanium gold, xf-1 flat black, xf-16 flat aluminium, xf-19 sky grey, xf-49 Khaki, xf-56 metallic grey , xf-58 olive green , xf-61 dark green and xf-62 olive drab
Vallejo metal colours silver, exhaust manifold and dark aluminium.
Vallejo Brown violet and Panzer aces canvas.
and a black sharpie marker

Tonal variation on the wings done by adding yellow or medium grey to the base colour.
Gloss coat Winsor and newton uv gloss varnish mixed 50/50 with Ultimate thinner.
Matt coat Winsor and newton matt varnish mixed 50/50 with Ultimate thinner.

Other weathering done with Mig ineriors wash, Ak interactives shafts and grease, exhaust wash . Oilbrushers earth, starship bay sludge, and mech ligth and dark greens.

An introducing Bob my photo alien because of RAF Bentwaters is also near the location for the alleged December 1980 UFO incident in Rendlesham Forest.

Just after taking this photo I had to do an emergency repair on the left hand landing gear. Had to re glue the part back into place as well as the landing gear door.

Great build thread and finish, shame about the undercarriage leg.
I lost a model just after taking photos for final reveal.

Where you able to save any of it ?
As you can see by the photo. I was able to save the build as it had just come out of the socket complete.
