MENG 1:35 SHILKA

Post by js1714 »

Greetings Slaves to the plastic...I've now completed the Shilka. All in all I would say that MENG have hit the nail on the head here but..!! there were a few issue's. 1: The small PE chains at the back of the vehicle are so delicate that extreme caution must be used when both handling and fitting them. :violin: 2. The hoses for the Guns are small and all the work done to fit them is not seen. :violin: I would have appreciated a detailed turret interior so that the hatches could have been displayed open. :violin: That said I enjoyed the build anyway and really liked this one. I used the metal track option and also fitted a chain on the back to hold the un-ditching Log on. Your opinions as the master's of this hobby would mean a lot to me as I have only been back at this for 2 years. I hope you like it,,Model on..

You've done a great job with this vehicle, although you might have wanted to post this in the Land Gallery section instead of the WIP section since it's completed.
