Good evening gentlemen. Tonight’s offering is the Doyusha 1/144 Fokker F-27 in the colours of Airlines of New South Wales as they appeared in 1967. The primer was Tamiya grey primer, major top coats are Tamiya Pure White and TS-83. There are five different metallic shades on the engines (but I didn’t keep track of them). The decals are from Hawkeye. This is the fourth and final of the set of Australian second level airlines F-27-200s, there will be an East-West Airlines F-27-500 when the kit arrives from Welsh Models.

A Tail of Two Planes. 1/32 Wingnut Wings SE5a’s
The kit has two fuselages in it, so I am trying to make two planes by using spare parts and scratching stuff up
The left one is the full kit in Ultimate Gelb primer and painted in acrylic paints
The right one is the extra one and is brushed Windsor and Newton Oils and will be all oil paints.
It’s engine is from a Roden Viper engine kit.
Two fuselages are provided in the kit as one has wrinkled sides and one has smooth sides.

Cheers guys, busy work Friday for me  :cheers2:

Takom 1/16 IJA Type 94

Yes folks, your eyes are not deceiving you, I actually managed to get the Tankette into Ultimate Oxide primer this week and not "back in it's box", this is like one of them episodes of the "Twilight Zone" , jokes aside, I'm enjoying this kit immensely. Now onto the next stage, which is of course, "back in it's box" I mean painting with the Hataka orange line = Lacquer range IJA paint set.

I have been working on my 1967 Chevy Impala SS. It is in 1:25 scale by AMT. The aftermarket wheels are by Pegasus in two different sizes; 23 for the rear and 19 for the front. I lowered the front end by cutting off the stock mounting lug and drilling a hole further up. The body was primed in Ultimate grey. The color coat is Pearl Red from Zero Paints. The clear coat is ZP Diamond 2K. All chrome parts were stripped with NaOH and then primed with Ultimate Gloss Black. Once primed they were painted in Black Chrome from Alclad. All of the trim on the car is also Black Chrome. Still have the interior to finish, but with some assistance with blu-tac here she is.

Hey Guys!

This is my first car build so basically I have no idea what I'm doing

Finished the engine for my AMT 1/25 Dodge Charger R/T.
Engine is painted in my own mix of X-6 Orange and X-7 Red, to get something that might pass for Chrysler Engine Red :shifty:
Rest of the engine is painted with Vallejo Metals and Ultimate Black and Gloss Black primers. I did some detailing with solder wires.

More progress on the Takom V2 this week, though modelling time has been scarce.
Got the majority of weathering done on the tractor though the "Light Dust" pigment that I applied last night, has dried a lot lighter than I expected...I'll darken it later!

Weathering done using Ultimate earth wash, some Abteilung oils, MIG panel washes, streaking Grimes and pigments.
Also used Micro Scale Industries Masking Fluid with success...for the first time!

This will be finished in a day or two, then I'll be having a go at sitting it on some sort of diorama base.
