Stug III Final Reveal

Post by NorthernSwede »

Well here goes nothing.

My hat is off to everyone that does weathering cause that was hard.Maybe not the smartest idea to use a GB build that tries to mimic a ingame tank as your first weathering project but I gitta start somewhere.

It´s far from good in my opinion but I stopped when I felt I would destroy it all if I continued. Many mistakes made but learned from them hopefully.

The model should have had a dust coat on it cause it "pops" to much and the grey is way to dark but anyway here is the result I managed.

The ingame version of the Stug is a rust bucket so is mine

The stug is one of my fav tanks also. Really menacing tank.

Well done Stefan
First rate work buddy. All modelling is about learning dude.
If we didn't make mistakes and learn from them we'd all be perfect... and that's just boring. haha.

Loving the finished result, the contrast of the rust effects against the camo is really effective - nice one!

For a first attempt at weathering I would say you did extremely well. I like your finished model mate.
