Iraqi/Syrian army figures 1/35

Post by DoubleDigit12 »

Hello,
I am planning on doing a diorama set in Syria featuring Russian MPs speaking to a syrian soldier. However, I have ran into 1 problem. I am unable to find any modern syrian figures that are in neutral poses. I wouldn't mind adpating figures so Iraqi soliders should be ok too. I anyone has any possible figures i could use help would be greatly appreiciated.:

What did you come up with? would be interesting for reference.
Got a T-55 stashed and want to do mid east rather than Russian / eastern bloc scene .... resin were among the few pieces I could find.
If it`s got a Dragon or a Dwarf in it .....I`m out ! :pistols:

Slim pickings unfortunately, however, I did find one figure suitable for my needs.

He is the soldier far left, if painted in syrian colours he looks quite alike some soldiers I have seen in photos wearing floppy hats.
The kit is from Trumpeter - " Russian special operations force".
