I didn't see it on Facebook either - everything disappears so quickly over there.

I know it's been argued to death, but it's very sad to see Facebook becoming a more prominent platform, when it's not fit for purpose as far as learning from others and going back to past builds for reference is concerned.

It should be on the Ultimate page.

I have to disagree Facebook is unbeatable for modelling.

As for past builds. Use the search function search your name and the subject and select most recent and there they are

That's fine if I'm looking for my own builds, but mostly I'm going to past GB sections to see several people's approach to certain things. For example I recently wanted to see how to make snow and remembered that there were loads of tips in the winter is coming GB so I went straight there. That wouldn't be possible on Facebook unless I remembered every person's name who had made a winter build in the past, or what keywords they used in the post. Facebook is good for posting, if you don't mind the fact that it will not always be seen by many, but it's bloody awful for finding things if you don't know specifics.

What I'm saying is, there are still many who appreciate the irreplacable things the forum offers, so please don't treat Facebook users as more important, or that forum users should "just use Facebook". It kind of feels like forum users were deliberately excluded from this 5th birthday offer because we didn't all post a reply here. You even just said that you made a conscious decision not to post it here because you didn't feel it had got enough interest.

It wasn't purposely excluded, lee shared it from the Ultimate page to facebook, i didnt share it here or anywhere i dont think. Facebook is a sharing platform, forums are participant based, posters need to post to keep it alive.
