Yay I’m first in
So let’s kivk it off the right way
Completed the wingnut wings 1/32 salmson, after starting it 1 and a1/2 years ago. It was shelved due to issues with the decals, but it was too good not too finish and I’m so glad I have.
It’s all out the box except for the front machine gun barrrl which is an Eduard item.
Primed in Ultimate
Painted with tamiya
Weathered with ak, mig 501 and Ultimate Image
I like to know what you think even if it is critique , If you spotted it let me know
Trying to finish what I started, and take part

My youtube channel that needs some updates

Managed to finish my 1/72 Tarangus SAAB JA37 Viggen (available from umpretail.com). It's a really nice kit that is pretty much just a smaller sibling to their 1/48 version, but with some added details. Except for belts made from Tamiya tape and a set of decals from the Moose Republic it's build straight from the box. Painted it using MR Paints Swedish grays and flat clear and weathered it using Ultimate Dark Dirt, dark gray oil and black pigments.

I wanted to share this "modernized" Panzer IV. I used plastic card to add the sloping armour and expanded the rear of the turret to allow for a Panther cupola. Also used Panther exhausts that I shortened a bit. Photoetched tool box is from Eduard's BT-7 set. Also replaced the co-axial machine gun with a 20 millimeter cannon from a Panzer II.

I would have had this painted in time too but my compressor broke.

There's always armour on my work bench.

Not much progress has been made this week as life and work has been getting in the way but I did manage to get the grey on the upper surfaces using Vallejo Model Air Light Grey 71.050.
Note that the bottom left photo has a Harrier GR.1 and GR.9 in to show the enormous size of this thing!

Well this week Mathew I have nearly completed my entry of the #Brit48 group build on BAS.

The Spitfire Mk1 has been treated to a W & N Gloss coat and tamiya panel line accent color. Then a coat of W & N Matt coat with a good use of Ultimate dark and light dirt and finished of with some Pinnacles pigments. (light Ash, dark Ash and a very little rust effect).

Just got a few little bits to complete/decide like the prop and then a strong mounting to finish off.

Thanks for watching.

Haven't had any bench time this week but did get the base started for the WW1 GB entry last weekend. So here's 50 shades of brown. The "gloop" is Vallejo textured earth, the duckboards are a combination of coffee stirrers and balsa and everything has been painted with Ultimate Black Primer, random patterns of Ultimate Gelb to provide initial tonal variations and then various random shades of ModelAir browns. Mig Pigments and flat coat are up next.

Revell 1/72 Millennium Falcon - stalled due to stupidity
Tamiya 1/35 Stegosaurus Stenops

Academy 1/48 CH-46D Sea Knight

Gone back to what I know best and returned to building Helicopters, this is the old academy kit, showing it's age now, but still the only model available in this scale, doing some scratch building just to add more detail to the barren cockpit, some rescribing of the air frame to correct some errors as this is for the E version.

I still refuse to endorse any Ultimate products in my pictures.

I have finally plucked up the courage to make a start on the DAF XF, this is a combination of the Italeri DAF 105 kit, A & N’s multi media chassis upgrade set & resin lift/steer tag axle set, A & N resin cab & KFS right hand drive conversion. Bending the 25cm long photo etch chassis rails were a bit of a challenge but I am pleased with the progress so far. Only another 120 x 1.5mm bolt heads to fit but I have to say the detail on the kit is superb.

Got the Hobby Boss King Tiger into primer, at last.

Marathon session with the Ultimate Apex and Oxide Primer. New compressor performed well.

Now to get the tracks done!

been working on a 1:12 Aoshima Z900 super 4, chopped it up a bit, custom built a new rear seat pod and chopped off the back end and will be putting a 4 into 1 zorst on it, and making it into a cafe racer as have chopped and dropped the bars, used ushi van der rosten buffing powders on frame etc and doing my own custom paint scheme, decals and top coat of laquer still to be applied. It looks a bit more blue/green under my lights but it's actually a deeper metallic green in daylight
