This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

Trumpeter USS Lexington in 1:700th

Way to small scale for me so glad to call this one done. Lots of small bits still in the carpet..

Primed with Ultimate black
Painted with Tamiya paints.

The Base came with the kit but I added tissue paper and watered down PVA to fill the gaps and add a little definition to the raised parts of the water.

Here’s a Frsin 1/144 resin Potez 621 French airliner from the 1930s. It is a very simple but delicate kit with a simple colour scheme. It was painted with Ultimate black primer, Tamiya TS-15 Blue and Xtreme Metal Aluminum with little bits and pieces picked out in other Xtreme metals. The model is almost complete, missing only a letter on the tail and Air France logos for the nose, but I need some white decal sheet for that and it hasn’t arrived due to the Christmas rush. After that, on with the propellers and that will be another one added to the French airliner collection.

Evening folks. The saga continues on the Hasagawa 1/72 F-15E Strike Eagle for the Graeme Pearson Christmas Build (failed).

Having started late, procrastinated some and finally got round to starting I discovered the limitations of this kit without researching previous builds. Lesson learned - should have gone with the GWH kit. So it's now painted (badly) and is now at the decalling stage. Bought 'Authentic Decals' aftermarket set for a Lakenheath but they suck - very fragile and ready seconds after dipping in the warm water and even the softest sable brush crinkles them big style. I will finish this kit but I'm not throwing much more time on it. Roll on 2019

Work has continued on my Zvezda 1/72 Sukhoi SU-27 for Graeme's "I can't believe it's only 354 days until Christmas" build. Paintwork has been tidied up and most of the decals are on. Nosecone and tail fins have been added and it's waiting for a gloss coat prior to weathering. I've added one bare metal panel on top due to wrecking the decal for that section - so it's a "replacement" panel .

Primed in Ultimate black primer
Base coat of Vallejo sand for the duster jacket
Then citadel nuln oil and something something sepia
Still lots to do

Evening all, this week I finished the Tamiya Sauber-Mercedes C9. Built out of the box with decanted TS-17 gloss aluminium, and Mr hobby super clear. Enjoyable kit with no issues. Have a good show

Pretty much the same as last week, building up smaller parts into sub assemblies and lots of clean up, I'll keep working at it as I'm enjoying this build. (No Chinooks were using in the typing of this thread)

I still refuse to endorse any Ultimate products within my pictures

Astra Millitarum Baneblade tank, Painted in citadel paints through a £15 ebay airbrush as havent been able to afford my Ultimate yet. fingers crossed for the end of the month. Happy New Year one and all.

So Mathew I managed to get the Prop blurs painted and fixed in place, changed out the back ground and it looks a lot better. Beauty shot will follow once i have worked out how to do that. Anyway, also finished off a shelf queen, Airfix 1.48 Hawker Hurricane Mk, just wires to paint and the hatched for the wings.
