Please read the rules below in order to participate.
01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Ism Friday's night live at the bench what have you been working on for *January 4th*

Post by Chris1886 »

As I've just joined thought I'd show what I've been working on. Please bear with me on this and forgive any newbie mistakes

Tamiya VW Beetle, primed with Vellejo primer, and Tamiya paints, nothing fancy just as it comes out of the box as I need to get my experience levels up before I start experimenting too much.

Just have the front panel to spray in body colour which will be dark green

I've been working on a 1/72 Fujimi MiG-29A Fulcrum for my Dad's birthday.
It's taken me 3 evenings work to get this far, this thing is just falling together!

DeAgostini Millennium Falcon 1:43

Here is the bottom frame with the base hull plates attached. I have not done any painting yet on the main part of the model, but will be priming and painting it as I get the major sub-assemblies completed. I am aiming to have it completed in April.

Frustration rules. I have two models waiting for some white decal sheet to arrive in the mail so I can print decals to complete them, another one waiting for a decal set to arrive so I can complete it, and this here Authentic Airliners 1/144 Douglas DC-10 which is waiting for some paint to arrive so I can replicate the corogard panels (a tip given me by a Forum member - three cheers for ISM!) The base coat is Tamiya TS-14 black and the metallic finish is Tamiya TS-83 Metallic Silver - decanted as Master Paul had shown us, of course. The white on top will be, when applied, Tamiya Pure white.

On a less frustrating note, today we put in an offer to buy a new house. I’m not looking forward to the move but I am looking forward to the new man cave which will be a two car garage without the cars. Am I excited? Am I what!

Well Mathew this week have mainly been playing around with My Tamiya M106A1 for my #VietnamWar group build entry. As you can see it has now been closed up and the external detail base coated.
The main hull has been painted with Model Color 894 Olive Green and highlighted with a touch of 986 Deck tan added to the base color. The mortar placed inside and basically there now. Coated in a Winsor and Newton Gloss ready for final weathering and details to be added.
Happy modelling hope you enjoyed it.

2019 is a year I plan to finish off my stalled builds
First up is this Monagram Glue Bomb refurbish bought off eBay. I have completely taken it apart and stripped all paint.
Made a resin rear spoiler, wing and grill as the kit boot was gone.
Blue is Splash paint’s Miami Blue and black is Ultimate, Fujimi wheels
Now Working on the running gear to get tires level, a workable steering and rotating wheels....monagram auto kits are Neanderthal engineering.
Almost there happy Friday all, catch you on the replay :thumb2:

Almost there with the 1/35 Hobby Boss King Tiger.
Back to matt with Testors Dulcote then some pale dust wash and pigment then made a start on oil paints around the turret.

Also revamped the cave.
