1/10 scale bust of ironman painted in metallic red nail varnish about 6 light coats got a nice deep red going on now not a lot to do really I'm thinking a bit of weathering and maybe some chipping but it'll not be a lot,

Good evening folks. Here’s another Eastern Express 1/144 Fokker 50, this time to be completed in the livery of Virgin Australia straight from the box. As you can see, I’ve started applying the decals. The white is achieved with two coats of Tamiya white primer, three coats of Spartan automotive lacquer and two coats of Tamiya rattle can pure white, with a light sanding with micromesh between most coats. The black bits are Tamiya rattle can flat black and the metalic bits are painted in Tamiya AS-12.

The white stuff next to the model is diluted pva glue which I used as a wetting agent to apply the decals, which also give the decal glue additional strength which I find necessary on high gloss models, otherwise the decals tend to fall off over time.

This will be the seventh and last F-27 I make in Australian colours, and a good thing too. Getting those black de-icing boots right drives me crazy.

This week I both started and finished a 1/72 Hobby Boss F-16CJ Fighting Falcon.
I built this as part of a Blitzbau Group Build which means from start to finish it must be finished in either a single 24 hours stretch or two 12 hour sessions.
I used Vallejo Model air Light Grey, Agressor Grey and Dark Sea Grey and in very happy with how it looks.
I went for the East Coast Vioer Demo Team look with minimal pylons and only a centre drop tank.

Have a great show everyone, I'll try and join in when I can as I'll be at work on the Ramp at East Midlands Airport.
Happy modelling!

1/32 Tamiya F-16C/J decalling marathon this week and priming/painting of the fiddly bits. I forget which primer but MRP Paints, two sets of aftermarket decals and some of the kit ones used.

1/24 fujimi kit in Splash Lava Orange over Ultimate white with Tamiya clear orange glasswork and Ultimate Black interior etc
It will be late as I was shorted an important decal, ruined another decal and weather is not good for 2k clear spraying
Have a chiropractor back stretching appointment today so will watch you’all on the rewind Saturday :D

Revell 1/32 Westland Lynx MK.8.

Work continues this week on the Lynx, 95% of the parts are glued together and have been primed with Ultimate grey and Ultimate Black primer, interior work continues at the painting stage (yes I did say PAINTING) and it's all starting to take shape, really enjoying this build.

I still refuse to endorse any Ultimate advertising within my pictures

Good evening guys. last weekend and today i have been working on the Revell Imperial Star Destroyer. 1;2700 scale. The Sub light engines and main engines are complete using so 3mm white LED's and 3mm blue flicker LED's. i have completed the bridge section with about 50 0.5 mm fibre optics and 2 5mm LED's Theres a couple more fibres to go on the neck section. unfortunately when putting together i managed to snap a few so thats why one side looks as if it has less light.
Also this week i have been Toetally busy with my foot. Would upload some pics but i think some viewers might still be eating there tea. " weeks off for me now so hope to step up and crack on with this build. Have a great night.
