Ah that'll be "Space: Above and Beyond" I know I watched it all when it first turned up on TV but I have mixed memories as to whether it was any good or not. I think they had some decent plot ideas but most of the characters were just anoying.

Yep the ending of both the original and the reboot left a bit to be desired

And sorry but I went back and added an extra hotty after your quote :)

Hmmm...

Firefly & Farscape would definitely be on my list too and most Star Treks (the exceptions being DS9 and Voyager - both of whose cast just annoyed me)

I never really got into Stargate or Torchwood so what would I replace them with...

Babylon 5 would probably be in there

And I'm still a fan of the Gerry Anderson series like UFO and Space 1999 although both are showing their age and of course Battlestar Galactica in both forms...

I hope I can be excused a little self-indulgence this morning as this lady has always been my favourite companion and definitely a schoolboy crush. Sadly taken too early from us on this day in 2011

Ah yes I remember now - wasn't there Dragos as the villain (with some sort of laser eye-patch thing?)

I always got it mixed up with something else in my fuzzy memory - Star Fleet? That was puppets though I think.

Hmmm... now when I saw this in the way back I was sure it was called "Return of the Jugger" but having had a quick check this morning it looks like it was probably "Salute of the Jugger"... I definitely didn't see it as "Blood of Heroes"

All that's assuming that I've got the right movie :)

So I had to dig out this old gem and see if anyone else saw this back in the day....

Have at it.

Hmmm... now when I saw this in the way back I was sure it was called "Return of the Jugger" but having had a quick check this morning it looks like it was probably "Salute of the Jugger"... I definitely didn't see it as "Blood of Heroes"

All that's assuming that I've got the right movie :)
Your are correct sir! That is indeed salute of the jugger. Aside from blade runner and blind fury one on my fav Rutger Hauer movies.
There is no fate but what we make.

All kidding aside, there has been action behind the scenes preparing for the sig
I have just bought two kits for prizes this weekend and there are four others readying in the wings

There will be two "Door Prize" draws open to everyone except me....one for those that start their build thread and one for those that complete their build on time.
Matthew's genius has suggested we let the three placement winners actually pick what prize they want from our offerings in order of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
That is brilliant. Those prizes are to be determined.

Look for the sig thread to pop up in June when I ask Paul for the Access Gate to be opened
I joked I have kept this sig a bit more low key and I really have. There were over 50 entries in the Busty Bomber Build and about half those finished, many didn't even bother to start. So this sig is Focused on ISM forum blokes/blokettes and I am not broadcasting it out to unreliable FB yahoos, no mention from me on the live shows or anything like that this time.

All is well, in the meantime...

I ordered mine yesterday. Should be here tomorrow/Thursday. (Amazon). Blasted HTown wanted $10 more for the same model. They went $6 in the last month.....
