Apex airbrush heavy conversion kit

Hi all. Can anyone tell me about the heavy conversion kit for the apex airbrush. I've fitted it to the airbrush but the needle sticks out the front of the cap. Is that correct or not. Cheers all

Yes that’s correct Andy. I just pull it back in when not in use
