Question on spraying varnish

Post by erik7181 »

Hi guys,
Iv been trying to spray gloss varnish and I just wanted to know do you guys think it before spraying or do it straight? The varnish is AK interactive. Which I heard wasn’t the best but it’s all I have. Thanks

I've used the AK matte varnish and I really like the finish it gives. It can be a hugger to spray and a lot of people suffer from tip- drying. I used to thin mine with an acrylic thinner (Vallejo), 60% thinner, 40% varnish. A drop or two of retarder will help if you still get problems with spraying it.
