Nice!
I got to sit on one when they were first released (not the time machine version ;) )
It's a sharp looking car in any form.

Haven't got much done as its been Brass Monkey temperatures down under and the cave has been a bit on the chilled side for painting.
Managed to get most parts cleaned and ready for priming. Decided to use a grey primer through out, but will add a gloss black base to any very shiny parts next.

Primer used: Badger Stynlrez Gray
NB: I did warm the bottle a bit before spraying due to room temps, seems to work a dream as it went down a dream

Just the opposite here in Vermont! We've had several days over 90 (32C) with high humidity and I just can't deal with that up in my loft!

Aluminium

Sunday rainy day - got some bling done. Decided to use AK Xtreme Aluminium for the body, its a bit more shiny that some photos but I'm very happy with the outcome. It may look a little less shiny by the time the model goes together.

Also started the exhausts Dark Aluminium and have start adding heat treatment with blue clear and Xtreme Jet exhaust.

Charge pole also painted

Here are some reference photos from a BTTF CarImage

Oohhh shiny I like the colour you've chosen mate by the time it's all together and weathered it'll look spectacular, I used a lot of Ultimate washes on mine in different areas to make it have some contrast, your definitely kicking ass and taking names 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Painting Update

It may not be noticeable but I decided to mist over the AK Xtreme Aluminium with AK Xtreme Steel, it really worked well and gave it a nice finish.

Also decided to keep the kit chrome on the wheels as it looks pretty decent. Just added some Tamiya Black Pannel Line wash....worked a treat
