Tamiya 1/12 Honda CBR 1100XX Super Blackbird. My first model kit since I was a kid, and that's about 40 years ago. It was actually Paul on You Tube which inspired me to get back into model making, after spending years painting wargamming miniatures.

• Primed in Ultimate Modelling Products black & grey primers
• Sprayed in Tamiya acrylics and a few parts hand painted with Vallejo Model Color
• Clear coated in Aqua Gloss
• All sprayed through a Sparmax MAX4
• Micromesh 12000 and Novus Polishes to finish

A few lesson learnt...

• A screw driver should not go anywhere near a completed model. I slipped when screwing on one of the cowlings, left a scratch on the fuel tank, so need to be more careful in future. I will tidy-up sometime.
• When mixing paint, save any remaining for later. You never know when you are going to slip with a screw driver!

You are starting on the good side of the learning curve...dive in and see all that is new in modelling, it is a fabulous time for the hobby
There are some really good threads on ISM for some rainy day reading to fill your brain with modelling ideas and info
