Silly Question regarding Lacquer

I should know this but it has been some time since I detailed an aircraft. My primer, paints, and gloss coat were all done in enamel. I am using a clay type (water based) wash. Now the question, will there be any tension or wrinkle issues if I use a flat lacquer final coat?

I plan on misting it on over 2-3 very light applications; it should be no problem, right?

P.S.: I suppose I could test it on a scrap piece, but I think this question might be good for others to hear too....

I am not an enamel user so my opinion is worthless and I am sure others will chime in
The dogma say no lacquer over enamel as it can wrinkle the enamel layer by softening it up
I would test out a little trial piece just to be sure. I have seen that others have used thin layers of laquer fine sprayed over enamel....eg Testors dull coat over Humbrol enamel with out a problem, but you are potentially dancing with a chemical reaction devil

I don't know for sure, but I think the key would be to make sure that enamel is really dry then use aqua gloss then your flat coat.
I'm also not an enamel user
