Thinning Tamiya TS Question

Post by mse240966 »

Another first timer question regarding decanted Tamiya TS spray cans. What thinner should you use with decanted Tamiya TS?

This evening I used Ultimate Airbrush Thinner and had a disaster. Also what do you use to clean the airbrush after spraying Tamiya TS? For some reason Ultimate Airbrush Cleaner had problems shifting it, so reverted to odour thinners to clean.

Well as Tamiya Ts spray is a lacquer you need to thin with a lacquer and clean it with lacquer thinner. Ultimate thinner and cleaner isn't for lacquers.

Clean with lacquer/cellulose thinner, thin with mr hobby levelling thinner approx 10%
