It's a giant of a bust of thanos he's huge like mad big but should be good to paint, I've put a Ultimate bottle next to him to show how bonkers big he is

Where do you manage to get these big busts from? (Ooo err matron!) Typing 'big busts' into Google comes up with something COMPLETELY different, although I wouldn't mind getting my grubby hands on a few of them and having a tinker

Started working on thanos Friday night during the live show
Started by looking at the on seem that ran down the back of his head and all the way down the back of him but it shouldn't be an issue then primed him in some Ultimate black primer 4 colour cup fulls on my Ultimate apex just to highlight any other spots that need attention and there's a couple but again shouldn't pose a problem

Update
Spent a few hours sorting the seam line on his back out tonight while chewing the fat with the lads in the hangout and I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out now lots of filler and lots and lots of sanding but its there now so let the primer dry and can start painting tomorrow

Small update
He's had a base coat of paint on his face I used badger minitaire demonic skin it will be a good base to start with

Got some more base colour down tonight on the live show the masking was a big pain in the toe to get down around the edge of his neck and then used some cling film to do most of his head (saves on tape) then after the colour (badger minitaire brass monkey) was down and masking removed I started to clean up the edges where I had a bit of paint bleed but happy so far

A diddy update got most of the tidying up done (Friday but flicker decided to only upload the pics today ) anyway, I also made a start on the dreaded eyes (not as scary as they used to be) cough cough archer transfers cough but that's a bit away yet but hopefully soon

Cheers mate yeah it's been great the last few weeks on here it's where I started on ism so need to keep on here whenever I can, Facebook is good don't get me wrong but it gets draining at times with the ads and constant bombardment of crap from people I don't know and things I don't need lol but there is a significant drop over the forum since Facebook arrived and that's a shame hence why I'm trying to get back to it more often, so I'm here to stay

Hopefully if I get time in between work and doing the youngest daughters new house up I might be able to get back to finishing the cave then he can have as much space as he needs

Worked on thanos eyes tonight I’ve used badger minitaire ghost tint yellow over minitaire skull white then gloss that with aqua gloss then applied archer transfers for his eyes and added red thread for the vains,it’s a good start but still loads still to do

Tidied hie eyes up now it's on to his skin a bit, not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet but I'll figure something out to make him look right and not wierd looking lol

He's getting closer to being finished, done some subtle work on his cheeks and chin a bit more and he can be done
