2019 Group Build - Voting

Post by Paul »

So myself and Lee have decided the GB's will now be 6 months long, so that will give us 2 next year

I've picked the most popular suggestions and added a generic one too

2 votes each use them wisely

Any questions about the GB's can be asked below.

All done.

Yo, I like them all, but if I may, you'd be REALLY COOL in my book if you voted for Shades of Grey.

Just sayin'

Ooo, exciting!
Couple of questions,
What’s the deal with the black n white idea? Does it mean something that is black (sr-71) / white (Concorde), or does it mean anything, but you have to paint it black/white?
Will there be a summer sci-fi sig?
I’m probs going for F1, as it’s not something I’d normally do, and they look cool.
But need help with my second vote. If the summer sci-fi sig is a go, then I’ll probs go with black/white.
Cheers!

Black and White means to take any subject but paint it up to appear like a B&W photo.

If SF doesn't get enough votes here, then yeah, I'll see if folks here want SSF III happen as a non-ISM build. It wouldn't have that official ISM flavor, though :nena:

Vote your conscience. An official ISM sci-fi could be really cool with a 6 mo build time.

Cheers Lysus, looks like F1 and black n white then! Sounds like an interesting idea. So you can put me down for SSF III as well!

Most of these would come under my "anything but the usual" bracket, so no point in me choosing that one. F1 and wheeled vehicles for me.

Hm. Ya know, a tank would also be "out of my comfort zone", so if it wins or comfort zone wins it's all the same to me

Sci fi will happen either way...a GB win here or we will do a summer buddy build, guaranteed
So if you want to spread your vote elsewhere go for it.

Count me in if there’s a b&w non-ism build.

Tbh I thought the voting would go another way this time. Don’t get me wrong, 99% of my builds are tanks or planes, but I can build them all year round. IMO it’s always good when the official gb’s are a bit ‘off the beaten track’. Still I can always do my first F1 car in the wheeled vehicle gb I suppose?

honestly thats kinda what i like about the broad subject matter is you can go off the beaten track or with something more common and with the longer time its easier to do multiple builds and the broad subject matter lets you really mix it up if you want

We'll obviously need official adjudication from Paul or Lee but when I put it up the intention was anything propelled by wheels except track laying vehicles.

So bikes, cars, trucks, armoured cars... bicycles? Either military or otherwise.
