Removing pva

I'm an expert at getting pva glue on windscreens. Try as I might and taking great care, there's always a stain of pva where it shouldn't be .
Any tips on how to remove these. Someone said WD40 but I'm worried this will damage the windscreen permanently

GOO GONE gets rid of a lot of horrible stuff like masking tape glue and more without stuffing up your plastic as it is a citrus based product.
It is a American product which wasn't easy to find here so not sure how you will go. Made by Homax Group,inc
