The slow progress has....progressed a little. I have got the main colour down on the Tamiya 1/24 Ferrari 360. Primed using Ultimate white, top coat is Revell aqua Ferrari (or Italian) Red 34. I am not a colour purist and also colour blind so close enough is good enough for me. Not quite a super glossy 2K finish, but not too bad using GX112 & I will at least polish it smoother. Happy Friday all.

Just a slab from me this week as I started on the dio base for my Jagdpanther. The base is from Reality in Scale and has been cut and rearranged to give me the layout I was after. Everything was given a coat of Ultimate black followed by random misting of Ultimate grey to provide some variation. The road section was then sprayed in a mix of Black/Brown & grey. The pathway given a coat of light stone followed by sand yellow and random paving slabs picked out with a variety of washes. Everything was then given a sludge wash with an unholy mix of grime, dark dirt, brown & light dirt applied randomly and then worked back. The gutter area has also been given a wash with Ultimate algae. The rough ground at the back has had textured dirt applied but will be finished off properly once some walls are in place.

Good evening happy modellers

Here is our cat Tristan asking why I haven’t finished the Airfix 1/144 Airbus A.300. The answer is because when I started applying the Condor decals some of them blew up, even though I’d given then a coat of clear varnish to stop that from happening. It will take a few weeks for replacement decals to arrive, so it’s on with another project.
