Hi everyone.

I joined the forum a few days ago and I have only just got round to posting.

I have worked in the Railway Industry for nearly forty years, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! (excuse the pun)

I was a keen modeller from my mid teens to my early twenties, mainly Tamiya F1 cars.

Over the years other things gained more importance, ie a family and the need to work extra shifts to pay all the bills that come with parenthood.

Now the kids are grown up and I have more time on my hands, I have been looking around for something to occupy myself.

Just happened to stumble across the You Tube channel and thought why the hell not!

Bring on retirement, I've got myself a not so new hobby.

Friday Live show is a good way to watch the yahoos and see some of the characters, then progress to the hangouts and live chat while you model

Twokidsnosleep is a distant memory now. I've been there, done that, but have yet to get the T shirt.

The thing I hate most is my son still leading his student lifestyle when he comes home!!

I'm even more jealous of the amount of alcohol he seems to consume when I'm paying!!
