This week I finished the Tamiya 1/24 Evo V kit. I painted it with Tamiya TS-26 and TS-49. I like my rally cars dirty so I weathered with a light misting of grime coloured clay wash shot through an airbrush.

After a sabatical I picked up modelling again and picked up my Hasegawa Phantom FGR MkII in 1/48
Still lots to do.
Used mainly Mr Hobby acrylics on black Ultimate primer. All sprayed with my trusted Apex with 3.5 needle.

This is a Revell 1960's Porsche tractor in 1/24th scale. I used tamiya rattle can red and detailed with a mix of Tamiya and model master brush paint. This is a skill level 2 snap fast kit but this kit has the option for painting and some parts are almost necessary to glue. It comes with a sheet of peel and stick and regular decals as options. It's still a work in progress and even though it's a snap kit, it's still very highly detailed and a pleasure to build.

HI Dan, Tim or Paul lol.

This week I finished my entry for Paul's Classic Race/road car buddy build, my Alfa Romeo GTA Junior.

It was built using Tamiya's 1/24 Giulia Sprint GTA and Scaleproduction's GTA Junior transkit.

Really pleased with the outcome as sticking and blending the wide arches on is a new one on me.

Ultimate Gelb, Black and White Primers
Zero paints Alfa Rosso
Splash 2K
Tamiya LP paints
Roll cage built out of 2mm styrene rod
zero paints textured charcoal for the seat
Micro mesh, novus polish and Tamiya Wax
Ultimate Apex used throughout.

Have a great show and a wonderful weekend everyone! :cheers2:

First time sharing for the show - hope I made it in time...

currently working on the Tamiya Benetton B188 F1 car. Slow progress, all done with Tamiya rattle cans and paint brush. Have started the body painting (pain doing it with rattle cans) and it's 4 separate colors - toughest paint job I've attempted. This is an old kit and have had to repair a few bits - but so far so good.
Thanks!

Little bit of work this week on the hobbyboss SU-34. finished the cockpit and got the primer on. I used Tamiya Nato Black for a change as theres lots of detail on the surface i didnt want to lose as i can sometimes hose the Ultimate on too much and lose it. Got the masks now so can hopefully get some camo on this week.
