Space Cadet #20 - Bandai X-Wing Camo

I'd forgotten that I had finished this and only just realised that the final day was only around the corner. Don't get me wrong, there have been a couple of GB's, SiG's that I haven't finished, but I hate not doing a reveal of some sort if I've committed to entering.

The build thread is here viewtopic.php?f=691&t=27138 although, being a Bandai kit, there's not a great deal to see.

Originally, I had intended building as per the original in the film, but something happened half way through. As happens with me all too easily, I got distracted.

And hence this aberration!

















My opinion. The engineering on the kit is to another level and the detail is mind-blowing. Did I enjoy it? The SiG - definitely!! The kit - not so much. Too much like Lego for my liking and not enough like a "real" kit. (Dragon is my preferred go-to manufacturer and their plastic is like soup compared to the hard stuff Bandai uses).

Huge thanks to Scott once again for another awesome SiG. Love looking at all of the other builds, although I haven't been as active with my commenting as I would have liked. Apologies! Well done to everyone that has taken part, there are some excellent builds as always (well, this is ISM! )

On to the next one!

I like it - it's definitely a unique way to finish an X-Wing.

Needs invasion stripes though, for that real rebel look.
