Meng Kids Lancaster. Lovely quick little kit that went together much better than some mainstream kits I've battled over the last couple of years (looking at you Revell & Academy!). Only downside was using stickers instead of decals, but given it's a "Kids" kit that probably makes sense.

Paintwork was done with Ultimate Primer, Vallejo Model Air & a coat of AK Ultra Matte to finish.

Good evening happy modellers.

Work progresses on the Micro-Mir 1/144 McDonnell Douglas MD-11. The wings are all painted (in TS-83 and my own mixture of Douglas Grey and Corogard). Hopefully the fuselage will be done in the coming week.

Takom Mk.IV male
Trying to get it finished and off the shelf of doom. No real problems with the build. Finding the camo a pain in the ass which is what I have been doing this week. Still have to put the black border in and tidy up the camo.

Unspecified scale Meng B-17G Eggplane - topcoat of MRP paints in Coastal Command colours completed. Had a decal failure but they were old and lifted some paint as I was rubbing them off :th:

Test fitting the 1/32 Revell Hawk intakes and discovered they are wrong way round

Got the Tamiya Benetton B188 done!! WooHoo!
Love how it came out - by far the hardest paint scheme this pea brain has ever attempted (and not chucked in the trash!)

Built OOB and added only Scale Motorsports yellow CF for the radiator intakes.
Tamiya TS spray cans and brush paints (hope to get an airbrush soon).
Had to source new decals as the orig had yellowed a bit.
Build thread on ISM wip section.

Finished this a couple months back and didn't have a chance to share it with the "Live Show". :D
(kinda proud of this one - came out really good for me...)
Tamiya Spain's No. 1 Yamaha YZR-M1 '04 Carlos Checa MotoGP bike
Built OOB with Tamiya TS spray cans and brushed paints.
Lot of learning on this one and really enjoyed the experience.

Good evening chaps, this week I finally finished my 1/24 Tamiya Opel Calibra Cliff.

For it's age its a great kit. The only issues I had were thick decals and a dodgy fitting bonnet.

It was built out the box using,

Ultimate Primers
Decanted Tamiya TS-14
Tamiya LP paints
Splash 2K
Zero textured paints
Ultimate decal solutions
Novus polish and Tamiya wax
Ultimate Apex used through out.

Have a great show ad a wonderful weekend everybody :cheers2:

Sorry 'bout the multiple posts of different "work" - the rules don't say specifically that you can only post one piece per week. I just saw that you can only post one picture of your model. Now I know. :thumb1:

But I did notice that Paul had one on the forum and one on facebook (two different kits)... Not that it matters, I generally take a couple months or so for each kit.  Just hadn't shared the ones I posted.

Anyhoo, enjoyed being a part of it and listening/watching the banter that was exchanged! Have a great weekend! :cheers2:
