See, compromise at all times. The mini-fridge in the Man-Cave was for storing in no particular order, Milk, C/A (as I'm told it keeps better at cooler temps), and beer. I also floated the idea about Mrs DW Chablis cooling in shed whilst she caught some rays (all a bit vague in UK Weather). Worked for me. Plus this does give you some added warmth when tumbling, and when its chilly, you can always put on a recently tumbled sweatshirt. Loving it.

Well not so much of an update but it's all sealed now I've not really been in there the last week been really busy with work and stuff and if I did go in there I would probably spend some more money that I'm trying to save for Telford model show this next weekend and going with the intention of buying a new spar max 610 and maybe a benchvent if the price is right I'm not going for models really but if I see something well you know lol 😂😂😎
Oh and I got some new cutting matts on offer off of Amazon £13 each 😮🙃☺️

Bang on with both the Sparmax and the Benchvent....perfect choices and you will love them both for many years to come.
Hoping you find a good deal on them at Telford :thumb2:

You'll love the Sparmax mate - I've had one for a couple of years and it's behaved impeccably!

The cave just moves from awesomeness to awesomeness - can't wait to see you clutter it up :)

Nope too tight for a root canal.

Lol that's not happening (in my dreams) I'm hoping to keep it looking pristine pmsl and if I can get a decent price on both sparmax and benchvent then that's the plan if not then it'll be sparmax first then order a benchvent after Telford 👍🏻

Nothing's really happened for over a week now because of Telford and the weather (constantly raining) I was hoping to get the Ethernet cable into the cave this weekend but the weather had different ideas so got some new shelves and got those built and in the cave they fit perfectly where I wanted them
Image
Image
I also started to get some pictures up on the wall just so I'm not tripping over them 😳 and the end result is really nice I've got to get a few smaller ones to fill the gaps but overall I like how it looks
Image
Image
I also have some laminate flooring to put down maybe next weekend depending on weather (fingers crossed its not raining) and hopefully get the Ethernet in aswell but we shall see 🙃🙃

The flooring has gone down today took me an afternoon to do just need to trim around it tomorrow and if the rain stops long enough I might be able to get the cat 7 cable around to the cave and have a permanent Internet supply 😎Image

Lol it's definitely getting fuller but I've already got plans for another concrete shed at the end of the cave for emergencies and it's had the green light off the wife but that'll be next year sometime I've still got the loft in the house as storage a the moment and have an idea about displaying my models but I need to iron out a few details lol

Got the floor sealed today used good old silicon instead of trim because at £6 compared to £55 it was a no brainer lol also got the end panel on it needs finishing off but that'll only take 20 mins hopefully paint racks next weekend and some shelving under the worktop near the door

Cheers mate 👍🏻 I have to give that idea to the wife she had the thought a while back and we did it on a small scale in the house and it looked good so I made an entire wall in the cave 😎

Yeah that was a cracking idea and got me wondering if I could do something similar with classic album artwork...

Well not as happened since last time well in a big noticeable way I've got a new tv in and Plummed in works well for what I wanted (mostly background noise) errm got a couple more pictures/posters up along with a new blackout blind the 2 things I'm most pleased with is getting the cutting matts down and the big one INTERNET!!! it's all Plummed in and works as well it should it was a bit of pain and I wish I did it when the weather was better like I did with the electric 🤔 but it's all in had to buy a couple of things to get it done but at least if I need to do it again I've got it sorted 😉😂
So this is the new tvImage
Oh nearly forgot Sarah (the wife) got me a new doormat aswell and it's pretty cool 🤘🏻🤘🏻Image
Oh and I nearly forgot a biggie got some heating in the cave now was out shopping with Sarah and saw an 11 fin oil radiator on sale for about £45 I think down from £80 so grabbed one and wow with that on for a bit and all the insulation that's in there it gets toasty one of the best purchases this year me thinks (don't like to be cold I'm a bit nesh) lmao
Image
One of the tools that made it so much easier to get cables through walls again one of the smartest purchases this year
Image
As you can see it's not rocket science but is fiddly lol
Image
And if you try and cheat by staying indoors (because it's warm) by shoving the cable through from inside take it from me not a smart idea all you get is even colder because you spend more time outside untangling the damn thing :bash: :bash: :bash:
Image
There's the pictures/posters
Image
And the new cutting matts all in position and radiator to keep me warm
Image
Till the next thing happens :nena:

You know she's a well insulated little cave when one of those old style heaters gets it warm.

Those things never warm my place much at all

I had one of those heaters in a room in our old gaff, absolutely rock solid. Worked a treat and was savvy on fuel.
Dan this space is a Heaven for us mortals. What a job you have done. Wow.

I was a little sceptical at first and thought I might need 2 but so far so good it's performing perfectly at keeping the place warm and toasty I was in t-shirt and shorts yesterday and was sweating like a glass blowers arse lol
