Working on a Tamiya Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. F in 1/35 scale right now. I only bought it to build so I can learn to weather German Dunkelgrau, only paid 6 whole dollars for the kit
Next up is a few more washes, and then pigments to come after.

Been Awhile since I posted, then again its been awhile since I did any real modelling

Anyway I was supposed to post this last week but was away in Spain..

Kit : Revell
Model: Willy B Jeep
Scale: 1:72nd

Not a huge fan of this scale but it was a nice cheep kit and I saw the image while doing some googling

The Box is Coffee stirrers split down the long egde then glued together with PVA and wood glue.

Model painted with Mr Colour Enamels, slight issue with the numbered decal as it appears to have moved up slightly on one side.. No gloss coat required

Hope you like it. Thanks Karl.

Interestingly enough, I am working on an AMT ‘64 Cobra
It is an eBay glue bomb purchase, missing parts, put together with contact cement unpainted and I am revamping it completely
So far W&N oil paint for the interior leather over Ultimate gelb with some suede interior linings
Fujimi Borrani wire wheels suit this era quite well
The styrene is old and brittle, just like me. Come watch it progress on the forum
Happy weekend everyone :th: :D

Hi All. I've been lurking for some time, picking up tips and motivation, and this is my first post. I normally work on cars but tonight I've been working on Tamiya's 1/35 Sherman with the Korean War markings. I've been using Mission Models paints and just clear coated most of my parts prior to decals, which I'll do tomorrow. The weekend will be quite busy with assembly and weathering.

Good evening happy modellers.

Tonight, missing only the antennas (or is that antenni?) is the Minicaraft 1/144 McDonnell Douglas MD-83 in the livery of Compass Airlines in 1992. The colours are mainly my own mixtures with some Tamiya rattle can Pure white, TS-83 and other bits and pieces. The decals are from Hawkeye.

This week I managed to work some more on the M6 GT3. After assembling the body and cleaning up it's flaws I shot it with Tamiya grey primer straight from the can. The thinner in the primer kept reactivating the filler around the side vents leaving ugly sink marks and ghost lines. I had to sand back 5-6 coats to make them dissapear. Still not perfect, but hopefully the white primer will hide the rest.

Been working on this little guy. Bandai 1/144 At-St which I’m building as the raider’s at-st from the new show “The Mandolorian”

(Painstakingly) routed the cables through the tiny legs up to an led in the head.

The base is made from XPS foam, plaster, miliput, wooden dowel, some dirt and sand and some mod podge.

the kit is pretty heavily modified but I’ve still got a long way to go.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday and live show.

(P.s. the dark photo really doesn’t do the lights justice due to my crappy camera)

1/32 Revell Tornado GR1 to GR4 conversion.......

Have I mentioned I don't like PE?

I've gone for a mix of the kit plastic and PE mainly due to the film printing of the instruments being illegible/blurred and any other adjective you can think of.....
