Continuing working on my entry into the anything 80's GB.

MPC 1/25th scale GMC truck being turned into a mad max mobile

The body has been primed and painted, engine painted up and installed, and the truck cab has had its roof relocated to the trash bin and a M2 Browning put on top instead

Still has plenty to do! Enjoying this, quite a bit different than my usual Soviet armor

I'm putting the finishing touches to the Kamov "Back Ghost" - everything under-wing is now on, just got to fit the canopies and the decals (rotor head just placed in position):

And I'm also making a start on the Zvezda 1/144 Tu-160 for the "Anything 80's" GB - cockpit floors and components getting their first coat of Soviet Cockpit Blue and the ejector seats a coat of black:

    Tamiya 1/35 M41 Walker Bulldog

Quick, Fun and cheap build (no aftermarket tank barrel for once.) First completed model in over a year. I used MMP-020 US Army Olive Drab Faded 1 for the main body. Then an assortment of Vallejo pigments for weathering. Plus a touch of Vallejo Mud and Grass to finish it off.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend!

This week I've switched back to my 1/72 Hasegawa MV22 Osprey for the Hovering SIG since that only has a week or so to run.

This has been painted with Vallejo Model Air Light Ghost Grey - FS36375, Dark Ghost Grey - FS36320 & Medium Grey - FS35237 for the fuselage & nacelles, and Trainer Yellow & NATO black for the tail fins. I've also embarked on the decaling starting with the fins. Hopefully I'll get the rest of the decals down this weekend and still in with a chance of getting it finished for my own deadline :) Stay well folks!

Last weekend I finished this Tamiya 1/24 '88 Porsche 911 Turbo. I used splash primer, slate grey metallic paint, and 1K clear coat. This kit is pretty simple (no engine, non steering wheels) but went together very easy. The amount of masking to get all the black trim pieces was intimidating, but I learned a lot attempting it.

Takom 'Berlin Brigade' Chieftain Mk 10 1/35

Started on this one build going well so far just waiting for the masking set so I can start on the camo. AMMO's Berlin brigade paint set used so far.

Hello everyone, hope is all ok form the Asian Pandemic
Forced modelling and free time sounds great, but so far running errands for everyone with no $ coming in is stressful :wall:

Working on Fujimi's Ferrari 288 GTO in 1/16 scale
Got the engine assembly done and now dry fitting into chassis and body...bit tight, some warpage
Lots of different paint call outs used int he engine, all over Ultimate white primer

Hope everyone stays safe and healthy, avoid everyone like the plague especially if compromised health.
    Cheers :cheers2:

    Good evening happy modellers

This evening’s effort is a partly completed 1/72 Dewoitine 780. It uses the wings and floats from the ancient CMR resin kit and the fuselage from the Hobby Boss 1/72 Dewoitine 520, with a scratch built nose and tail. So far all it’s had applied is a lot of Tamiya white putty and Tamiya rattle can grey primer. Unless it starts behaving itself it might yet see the inside of my rubbish bin.

This week I finished the my 1/72 Tornado GR.4 which I have been working on for the past couple of months. I took the old Revell GR.1 kit and converted it to make it a GR.4 variant. I used a lot of aftermarket which included resin wings, resin nose, resin wheel bays and HGW fabric RBF tags.

It has been displayed on a Coastal Kits base along with 1/72 PJ Productions pilot and nav figure and a Flightpath resin GPU.
