Question about the forum.

Post by DaMadModler »

Is there anywhere here on the forum that I can find videos or articles on weathering? The Whirlybird group build is the first ISM GB I will participate in and to be honest, I am know where near the skill level of the folks in here. I really though I was going to go crazy waiting for the build to start and now that the time is here fear is starting to settle in. I always get my hopes up of an incredible display and then the trouble starts, but that's probably no different from anyone else. Sorry that was along way to go for a weathering question I tend to ramble a times. Thanks

There is no reason to be scared for building the first time in a GB.
There are many people that doesn't have the skills some other people have.
The point of a GB is to have FUN with your model, and to share it with others.
This forum and comunity is to encourage fellow builders. It doesn't matter if your a newbie or a master. ;)
We all had to start once, and we are all learning from each other :th:
(Lee, correct me if i;m wrong.)

Don't worry we all appreciate each other's work and learn from each other, at all levels. I'm sure that once you get over the initial anticipation you'll find it an enjoyable experience. Like all things it takes practice to build confidence, and rest assured you'll be supported here.
